Bismarck, ND – November 14, 2007: Executive Air Taxi Corporation today announced the acquisition of Fly with Flair a.k.a. DL Custom Upholstery, an aircraft interiors business, formerly located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. The former owner, Cemone Oberg is joining the staff at Executive Air as the Interior Sales Manager. Oberg brings over eighteen years in the aviation business to Executive Air. .

Dallas, TX – May 31, 2007: Brockway Moran & Partners, Inc. and Meridian Venture Partners today announced that they have completed the sale of Executive Air Taxi Corporation to Mr. Kelly Cermak, Executive Air’s CFO, Mr. Paul Vetter, Executive Air’s General Manager, and local businessman Mr. John G. Miller. Together, the new ownership brings more than 60 years of experience with general aviation, management and leadership to Executive Air.

Mark McCann, mechanic at Executive Air, has been named the North Dakota Aviation Mechanic of the Year by the N.D. Professional Aviation Mechanic's Association. McCann was recognized for his contribution to aviation safety and demonstration of a high level of professionalism in the performance of his duties as an aviation mechanic. McCann has more than 19 years of aviation maintenance experience.

Jessica Olson, a sophomore math major from Tacoma, WA, turned a childhood dream into reality while making U-Mary history when she took off from Bismarck Airport April 2st in the pilot's seat of a Cessna 172 at Executive Air. Her flight marked Olson's completion of an aviation program that is a first for the university and for the area.

Olson is one of a seven students who participated in the program, which was launched this spring by The Harold Schafer Emerging Leaders Academy at the University of Mary, "America's Leadership University," in partnership with Executive Air in Bismarck.

U-Mary students along with a number of area professionals attended 20 aviation ground school lessons facilitated by an Executive Air certified flight instructor. Students were each given a package of Cessna educational materials specifically designed to prepare them for successful completion of the FAA ground school certification exam. Upon finishing ground school, each student also was able to schedule 30 minutes of introductory flight time in a 2003 Cessna. According to Executive Air's instructor, Justin Voller, this "discovery" flight is designed to acquaint prospective pilots with the "feel" of flying and handling the controls, under an instructor's supervision.

Olson, who has always wanted to fly, had not anticipated having the chance to learn to do so while still in college. She feels U-Mary and Executive Air have gotten her off to a good start and hopes to continue working toward a private and eventually a commercial pilot's license.

"We are excited to be working with the University of Mary on what has been a very successful experiment," says Reid Vogel, director of marketing with Executive Air. "Working with the university as well as these students has been a tremendous experience for everyone involved. We expect this program to continue to evolve and prosper in the coming years."

The Federal Aviation Administration has recognized Executive Air's maintenance professional, Wayne Metcalf of Bismarck, with the 2005 General Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year award.

This elite honor was awarded to Metcalf for outstanding contributions to aviation safety through education in the state of North Dakota. The award was presented to Metcalf at the recent Aviation Symposium held in Fargo. Metcalf has been employed with Executive Air for the past 28 years.
